No. Sign up with your email and a username. Farm and block setup, mapping, IPM and disease models, biofixes, notes and reports are always free. Your first 5 spray records are free, and scouting and food safety each get a 30-day free trial that starts the first time you use them.
The app shows how many free records you have left. After 5 spray records you get 2 more grace records, then you'll be asked to subscribe ($300 for the year) to keep logging. Nothing gets locked away: every record stays viewable and exportable, including reports, WPS posting and audit PDFs.
Yes, and you should know now rather than at renewal. $300 is the 2026 rate. From January 2027 it is $400. Subscribe before the end of the year and your first year is $300.
Pomona is one person's work, and $300 doesn't cover what it costs to keep building it.
Yes. Cancel from your account settings. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your billing period, then your account goes back to the free plan: your records stay viewable and exportable, and the always-free features keep working. No refunds for partial years.

Pomona was built for tree fruit (apples, pears, cherries, stone fruit). The spray log, IPM tools, and calibration wizard work for any orchard crop. Some IPM thresholds are apple-specific, but you can add your own.

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and backed up nightly. We don't share or sell your data. It's yours.
